While this may seem unusual compared to the UK and other countries, it is completely standard practice in China. Major brands such as Pringles, Lay’s, Starbucks, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Chips Ahoy and Oreo follow this system for products manufactured there. Please disregard any printed date on the original packaging, as this refers to the production date only. The best before date will be clearly displayed on the ingredients label attached to the product.
